The cream of local classical music came to Heart on a lovely Spring evening, and cream it was.
Matt Wade, a final year student, played Rachmaninov and Debussy, but declined the Beethoven Piano Sonata as he felt he was not quite up to scratch to play the great composer’s work yet. Hope to see you do it soon, Matt.
Sarah Roche and Markus Siegel played Brahms and Chopin respectively while Fergus Battersby on guitar played the German composer Mertz and Spanish composer Albéniz.
Altogether a delightful recital.
