OWLS is a charity, and operates on a not-for-profit basis. Like other charities, we rely on the support of our donors, volunteers, and members to be able to continue our life-changing work.

Legacy donation

Leaving OWLS a donation in your Will could help make a difference beyond your lifetime.

You don’t need to be wealthy to make a Will or leave a gift in your Will. Every adult should have a Will, regardless of their age, income or wealth - it is the only way of ensuring your wishes are met after your death.

How else can I help?

If you can’t afford to donate right now, don’t worry! There are plenty of other ways you can get involved. These include:

  • Encouraging local older people to join OWLS

  • Volunteering with us; anything from helping in groups or driving a minibus, to making tea and coffee or being a befriender to local seniors

  • Become a Pen-Pal for one of our members
